Meet The Owner
Dr. Bertha Pulliam-Carlson is a remarkable individual who has made significant contributions to the community through her role as the CEO and founder of First Choice Outreach Services, INC. As a licensed Social Worker with a PhD in Christian Counseling and a Master's Degree in Leadership and Human Services, Dr. Pulliam-Carlson has extensive experience in various areas, including post-traumatic stress, financial management advocacy, power of attorney, guardianship, conservatorship, parenting skills, and more.
Her commitment to addressing issues such as domestic violence is evident in her role as an author, with two published books: "RAINBOW COLORS OF LOVE" and "Men and Women Changing Roles of Domestic Violence." These works aim to end the cycle of violence against women and shed light on changing dynamics in domestic relationships. Dr. Pulliam-Carlson is also working on a new book titled "WHAT IS EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP?" scheduled for release by Christmas.
First Choice Outreach Services, INC., under Dr. Pulliam-Carlson's leadership, focuses on building integrity, morals, and values while being dedicated to loyalty. Dr. Pulliam-Carlson's upbringing in a small countryside community, born to Mason and Louise Pulliam, shaped her strong Christian faith, instilling values of respect, loyalty, and integrity. Growing up in a community where everyone worked together as a team, she learned the importance of collaboration and community support.
